Start your journey by taking an overnight sleeper train to Xi’an, where you’ll be picked up and whisked away to visit the Terra Cotta Warriors, the collection of more than 7,000 stone warriors built more than 2,000 years ago to protect the tomb of the Emperor Qin Shihuang in the afterlife.
After visiting this historical site, we’ll drop by the Huaqing Hot Springs, a famous bath place of the Tang Dynasty emperor and Empress.
After a delightful local meal, you’ll visit the Banpo Museum, which houses a trove of Neolithic treasures before visiting the Wild Goose Pagoda and heading to the old Muslim Quarters, an area renown for its local Xi’an snack foods.
The next day, we’ll wake up early and take a casual bike ride around the Ancient City Wall. The afternoon is filled with free activities before taking the train back to Beijing.
